No, the city cannot recommend any contractors. We do, however, supply our residents with a list of registered contractors. Registered means that a contractor has proven to the city that they have business insurance and have posted a bond in the amount of $15,000. We suggest obtaining at least 3 written estimates. You can find a full list of current registered contractors under "supporting documents" below.
