Lake Metroparks- Willowick Lakefront Park

The City of Willowick is thrilled to announce the signing of a new 20-year lease agreement with Lake Metroparks that ensures the continued partnership in managing the beloved Lakefront Park. This agreement solidifies a shared commitment to preserving and enhancing this cherished community space for residents and visitors alike. Under the terms of this agreement, Lake Metroparks will continue to use and oversee the maintenance of the Lakefront Park as well as construct a 30’ x 44’ picnic shelter, a flush restroom, renovation of the deck at the lodge, and paved walking path improvements. An additional paved parking lot is also included, which is to be completed by the city. We are excited to continue our collaboration with Lake Metroparks, as this agreement reflects our dedication to providing exceptional outdoor spaces for our community to enjoy.
