The Cities of Willowick, Eastlake and Wickliffe have combined for 4th of July fireworks which will be at the Captains Stadium in Eastlake. The stadium gates will open Monday, July 4th at 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks will begin between 9:30-9:45 p.m. Fairport, Mentor and Willoughby also have listed dates and times for their fireworks. Please have a safe and fun filled holiday weekend!
Beginning June 20th, 2022, the southbound right lane at E305 and Rt 2 intersection will become a permanent RIGHT TURN ONLY. This lane will no longer be limited to just the hours of 6am and 9am.

Hometown Heroes Veteran Banner Program

The City of Willowick’s Hometown Heroes Veteran Banner Program is a tribute to recognize and honor our residents and their immediate family members who are currently serving or who have served our country in the armed forces. Banners are hung from Memorial Day in May through Veterans Day (November 11). New applications will be accepted starting in January of 2022. The cost for a new banner will be $125.00. Mortgage and Rent Assistance Program
Lifeline will be partnering with the Fair Housing Resource Center for triage and screening of applicants for rent and mortgage assistance. Lake & Geauga County low to moderate-income residents, and have fallen behind on rent or mortgage payments are encouraged to contact Fair Housing Resource Center at 440-392-0147 to submit an application for assistance.
