Bicycle Patrol

Understanding the need for a specialized unit to patrol our city parks, and under the direction of Chief Lazor, the Willowick Police Department started a Bicycle Unit in 2001.  Two specially equipped Police Mountain Bikes were purchased and officers had to attend a week long training session before being certified.  Today, our department has three bikes and five officers assigned to this unit.  Sgt. Bruce D. LaForge, Ptl. Steven Fellinger, Ptl. Robert Daubenmire, Ptl. Bryan Kravos, and Ptl. Greg Williams.
