WOW has now begun contacting residents regarding the new service that is available to them for internet and TV. This will include door-to-door solicitation. They are required to honor the Do Not Knock registry which is in place for the city. A city ID badge has been issued for those solicitors who have obtained permits from the city. The city can be notified of any violations of the Do Not Knock ordinance. Free Transportation to Senior Centers Being Offered to Lake County Seniors
Laketran, with help from the Senior Services Levy, is now offering door-to-door Dial-a-Ride transportation to and from any Lake County senior center free of charge. This is available to Lake County residents 60 years of age and older. This is part of an effort to help seniors more fully participate in an active community life and address social isolation. Hometown Heroes Veterans Banners 2019
The City of Willowick Banner Program is a tribute to recognize and honor our residents and their immediate family members who are currently serving or who have served our country in the armed forces: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and national Guard. Banners are displayed from Memorial Day through Veterans Day (November 11). Cost is $125 per banner.
