CRITTERS !!!!!
Please do not leave pet food and bird seed laying around! We have experienced an increase in rats coming into the city through the sewers from south of the freeway. In addition, a coyote was killed in Willowick near the freeway. Leaving bird seed, pet food, feeding stray cats, etc. only attracts nuisances. Also, please put lids on garbage cans. If you do not have lids, consider putting your trash out early in the morning of pick-up day. We had the sewers baited to kill the rats but we need to all work together to end the problem. Many residents have good intentions feeding raccoons, squirrels, birds, cats, etc. but the result is often an attraction to undesirable animals visiting Willowick.
